Brett Stuesser is the superintendent of Bannockburn Golf Club. Bannockburn is a regional golf club west of Geelong in Victoria, and a long way from where Brett grew up in Winnipeg, Canada. Yes, that's right, Canada!

Growing up in an extremely cold environment and working on golf courses in Canada, as it turns out, is seasonal work. And it wasn't too long before a young Brett travelled to Australia's Gold Coast, far away from the cold environment he was so used to.

Working back in Canada for a few more years after visiting Australia, Brett felt maybe Australia was a place to get consistent work on a golf course. And so Melbourne was soon to become his new home.

Join Brett and I as we discover his career in greenkeeping that brought him to Australia where he would find his future wife, enjoy a love of travel, knuckle down to become a superintendent, and I also learn a few new words and phrases along the way! Brett is also my first Canadian born guest and this is one awesome yarn!

You hit 'em clean and we'll keep 'em green! (instagram.com/thegolfinggreenkeeper)
