Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland with 24 points, five rebounds, five assists, four steals, and four threes. Darius Garland added 20 points and nine assists, Evan Mobley posted 18 points and 10 assists, and Jarrett Allen recorded 16 points and 14 rebounds.
For Washington, CJ McCollum scored 25 points with six three-pointers, Alex Sarr added 20 points, four rebounds, and four assists, and rookie Tre Johnson tallied 18 points in his first career start.
With the win, Cleveland improved to 6-3 overall, while Washington dropped to 1-8.
