D'Arcy Waldegrave's Prized Stacey Jones Jersey & Warriors Obsession | Off The Back Seat: Fan Edition

In this episode of Off the Back Seat: Fan Edition, Manaia Stewart and Ben Hurley pick up D'Arcy Waldegrave in the back of a brand-new GWM Cannon Alpha Plug-in Hybrid!

Thirty years of heartbreak and veteran broadcaster D'Arcy Waldegrave still hasn't hit his breaking point. This one's a masterclass in Warriors devotion, starting with the debut game over a few DB Bitters in Christchurch, and the hard lesson that the Warriors can look brilliant and still lose.

The boys get the yarns: accidentally dislocating a Warriors staffer's shoulder in a media touch game, the treasured Stacey Jones-worn jersey, and a vintage jersey collection that's become an obsession. Plus the real psychology of it all, why Warriors losses hit harder, why Mount Smart feels like a national gathering, and the simplest reason D'Arcy's never walked away: they're his team, win or lose.
