The Chicago White Sox began the game with a sac fly by Munetaka Murakami into center field, bringing home Lenyn Sosa in the bottom of the first inning, 1-0.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Murakami hit his first home run at Rate Field, taking back the lead, 3-2. Colson Montgomery followed suit with a solo home run to increase the White Sox lead to 4-2.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, the White Sox notch two more runs to secure a 6-3 victory.
