Ian Hartitz breaks down five players going noticeably EARLIER in home leagues on
ESPN and Yahoo than they are in high-stakes formats like NFFC and FFPC, and why
that gap can be a red flag on a player's 2026 fantasy upside.

There is a lot more money flying around in NFFC and FFPC than in ESPN and Yahoo
leagues. Maybe that means we should follow it, maybe it does not. That is the
question this video works through, one player at a time. And as Ian says up top:
a player being on this list does not mean you cannot be in on him this year. It
is still early August.

Some of what comes up:

Dart has the rushing profile that works. 26 of 28 quarterbacks with 100 or more
rush attempts in a season since 2016 hit top-12 fantasy points per game, and only
Josh Allen scored more fantasy points from rushing last year. The offensive brain
trust in New York is another story.

Davante Adams turns 34 in December, and since 2016 exactly one receiver who turned
34 by year's end has posted top-12 fantasy production. He also drew 28 end zone
targets last season, the most in the league, so the volume is not the concern.
Matthew Stafford's touchdown rate might be.

Josh Jacobs has a legal situation and a groin injury, and his last 35 carries of
last season produced 94 yards and no touchdowns. He also has 30 touchdowns in his
last 32 regular season games as a Packer.

Alvin Kamara is being chased back up the ranks now that he is playing, with camp
reports pointing to Travis Etienne as the starter. He is still one of only eight
running backs to average 18 or more PPR points per game in a season since 2024.

And Sam LaPorta is the one that broke Ian's brain: he goes at basically the same
pick in a tight-end premium format like FFPC as he does on ESPN, which should not
happen to a tight end anyone is confident in.
