Week 6 Dantabase Top 25 & Week 7 Weekday Games Preview

The College Football Experience with Pick Dundee and Ryan McIntyre on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network continues its Week 7 weekday games preview and picks, with the Dantabase Top 25 and the Land Down Under along for the ride.

Is UCLA really the best resume in the country with Nico out for the season? Does Kentucky belong ahead of Ohio State? Is Oklahoma actually good after beating Texas? Is Deion fired if Utah wins 37 to 7 in Boulder? And who wins App State at Coastal Carolina? We talk it all and more on this episode of The College Football Experience.

The Dantabase Top 25 is built on resumes, not hypotheticals, and Ryan McIntyre guessed the new number one before the slide came up. UCLA takes the top spot on three road wins and no FCS game on the schedule, with Georgia at two and Indiana at three. Pick Dundee puts Kentucky at 12, ahead of Ohio State at 14, because the Wildcats have actually beaten teams with a pulse while the Buckeyes' only real win is Iowa. Mac and Troy both say that shouldn't even be a debate. Liberty opens the list at 25 and USC hangs on at 24.

The Oklahoma argument eats a big chunk of the show. Troy says the Sooners would beat Washington even in Seattle after the Red River win. Pick Dundee isn't buying it, pointing out Oklahoma scored 10 at Michigan, 14 against New Mexico and six offensive points against Texas, and calls them a bottom 20 offense.

The Land Down Under covers James Madison heading to the American and what that does to the Group of 5 pecking order. Mac still says UCLA makes the playoff before USC, has Houston as the best playoff shot among Houston, Wake Forest, Kentucky and New Mexico, and thinks Jedd Fisch won't be Washington's coach next year. Elon at Stanford wins dumbest game of the week, and the guys agree Northern Illinois at Wyoming is the only matchup on that list that makes sense.

Then the weekday card. Both hosts lock Delaware -1.5 at Middle Tennessee, though Delaware's quarterback is listed questionable with a leg injury. There's a battle on FIU at Jacksonville State, with Pick Dundee laying 2.5 with Jax State in the revenge spot and Ryan McIntyre taking FIU outright. Both like Missouri State +3.5 against Kennesaw State, double lock Sam Houston at home against Western Kentucky, and lay 4.5 with ECU at UAB.
