Katharine Berkoff on 50-100 Backstroke Gold: "Really happy to be fulfilling that (goal)"

Katharine Berkoff won the 100 back on night 1 in Irvine and didn't stop there. 24 hours later, Berkoff, the American record holder in the 50 back, won her signature event in 26.90, a new PB and American standard. After the race, Berkoff revealed it had been her goal to sweep the sprint backstroke events coming into the meet. The Paris Olympian was elated to be able to do so.
