SCY Shock: Surviving the Return to Short Course | Episode 16

Short course yards season is back—and so is SCY shock. Renee and Rochelle break down why the September switch feels so different, how to approach early-season times without spiraling, and what swim parents should focus on instead of comparing.

They also cover USA Swimming's National and Junior National Teams, make their Golden Goggles predictions, talk about the transition to college swim-mom life, introduce the Swim Moms app, share practical meet-planning advice, reveal this week's favorite things and confessions, launch Swimmer of the Week nominations, and highlight Ryan Lochte's #FixMyStroke series.

What gives your family the biggest SCY shock? Tell us in the comments—and nominate a swimmer for Swimmer of the Week by sharing who they are and what makes them deserving.
