Virginia Tech forward Tobi Lawal is an athletic freak, and that was proved during the 2026 NBA Combine. The 6'7.25" forward stunned many with his leaping abilities at the combine. His standing vertical leap measured out at 40.0" and he had a max vertical leap of 45.5". Not only were those measurements the best of anyone at this year's combine, but they are also the second-best leap scores in the history of the NBA Combine. When you hear people talk about players who can leap out of the gym, they are talking about Lawal. While he averaged only 12.3 points per game last season, he posted true shooting and effective field goal percentages of 63.5% and 57.8%, respectively. He is a good rebounder, averaging 8.5 rebounds per game in 29.1 minutes per game, and had a defensive rebounding percentage of 24.9%.
