ESPN and The Athletic polled executives, scouts and coaches on which quarterback on a rookie deal they would want for this season, and Drake Maye won in a landslide, taking 12 of 20 votes over Caleb Williams. Kelvin Washington agrees and lays out why, pointing to a 72 percent completion rate against Caleb's 58, an easier division, and Ben Johnson's public frustration with his own quarterback's decision making. Rob Parker isn't having any of it. He argues Maye beat exactly one team over 500 all season, then pulls the postseason numbers on him: a negative 41.2 pass EPA, the worst playoff mark of the Next Gen Stats era, with Rex Grossman and Kerry Collins as the company. From there it stops being about quarterbacks. Rob spends the back half of the segment demanding Kelvin admit on air that he is a Lions fan, and Kelvin spends it insisting Rob is the one who's obsessed.
