"That was a great win" exclaimed Cody Bellinger after the Yankees out-slugged the Marlins 9-7. It was Bellinger's two-run HR with New York down 4-0 that sparked the comeback according to teammate Giancarlo Stanton, who came through with a clutch two-run single in the eighth inning to snap a 6-6 tie. Closer David Bednar had a hectic ninth inning that saw the Marlins put the tying runs on base but Bednar "just had to find a way" to close the deal.
