The No. 18 North Carolina Tar Heels flexed their muscles with an 84-34 win over the UNC Wilmington Seahawks. Nyla Brooks led all scorers with 16 points on 6-10 shooting, including 4-7 from three-point range. Ciera Toomey played well on the inside and outside, scoring 15 points on 7-10 shooting, including 1-2 from three-point range. Indya Nivar added 10 points while Lanie Grant and Elina Aarnisalo each added 9 points in the win. Courtney Banghart's defense held the Seahawks to 25% shooting and scored 28 points off of 22 takeaways. The 34 points allowed were the fewest that the Heels have given up this season.
