A strong field heads to the Tampa area, led by Xander Schauffele following his third-place finish at THE PLAYERS, while defending champion Viktor Hovland returns in search of another title at a course that has recently produced repeat winners. Matt Fitzpatrick arrives in form after a near-miss at THE PLAYERS, while Justin Thomas continues his comeback with momentum following a top-10 finish at TPC Sawgrass and at a venue he has long considered a favorite. Florida native Brooks Koepka is also trending upward, while Rickie Fowler brings consistent early-season form into just his second career start at the event. FedExCup leader Jacob Bridgeman adds further intrigue, while Akshay Bhatia continues to ride momentum following his win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and another strong showing at THE PLAYERS. Past champions Jordan Spieth and Taylor Moore return to the field, while rising talents such as Blades Brown and Luke Clanton look to build on impressive performances in Puerto Rico.
