In basketball, the BASELINE defines the edge of the court—the boundary where plays can begin, reset, and take shape. In “BASELINE”, that idea extends beyond the game, tracing Oklahoma City Thunder players Chet Holmgren, Cason Wallace, and Jalen Williams back to the high school gyms in Minnesota, Texas, and Arizona where their foundations were built.

Through early footage and personal reflections, the film explores the work habits, expectations, and challenges that defined those formative years—moments that shaped them not only as players, but as people. It’s a look at how discipline, identity, and mindset took hold long before the NBA.

The film also follows the trio as they return to those same gyms, where their jerseys now hang in their honor, offering a powerful full-circle perspective on their growth and the lasting impact of those environments. It’s a story of how far they’ve come—and how much of that journey started in those early spaces.

“BASELINE is about more than basketball—it’s about the moments that shape who you become,” said Dan Mahoney, co-executive producer of OKCThunder Films. “We wanted to capture that pivotal point where everything starts to take form and show how those early experiences continue to influence these players at the highest level.”
