Last night was a night full of return for forms in Irvine. One of those was Luca Urlando, who took the win in the 200 Fly in 1:54.45. Earlier in 2026, Urlando had to pull out of the NCAA Championships due to injury and has been working to get back into peak condition. The butterfly specialist says he has been back to full training for close to two months now, a promising sign heading into Pan Pacs.
Urlando is the defending world champion in the 200 fly from last year and was Team USA's only individual gold medal on the men's side.
