BILL SIMMONS IS BACKTRACKING! HE WAS WRONG ABOUT THE HEAT… AGAIN!

Bill Simmons had A LOT to say about the Miami Heat before the 2026-27 NBA season — and now he’s starting to change his tune! 👀🔥

Simmons questioned whether the Miami Heat could defend, questioned how Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo would work together, and even declared, “Welcome to the Play-In.” But after watching Miami’s preseason debut against the Toronto Raptors, where the Heat dominated 129-105, Simmons is suddenly starting to wonder if he was too negative about this team.

And Heat fans… WE HAVE RECEIPTS! 😂🔥

In this episode of Miami Heat Talk, we’re breaking down Bill Simmons’ original criticism of the Heat, his latest comments after watching Giannis in action, and whether he’s already starting to jump back on the Miami Heat bandwagon.

Giannis looked dominant, Bam Adebayo looked comfortable, Andrew Wiggins benefited from Giannis’ gravity, and Miami’s defense looked NOTHING like the defense Simmons was questioning. The Heat forced 19 turnovers and blocked seven shots in their preseason opener.

Was Bill Simmons wrong about the Miami Heat?

Is he already starting to realize this team could be much better than he predicted?

And more importantly… is Bill Simmons about to become a Miami Heat believer? 👀

We’re talking Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bam Adebayo, Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson, Davion Mitchell, Erik Spoelstra, Miami’s defense, the Heat’s new offense, and everything this preseason performance could mean for the 2026-27 season.
