Leon Marchand and Summer McIntosh are Looking UNSTOPPABLE

When I was looking at the Psych sheets for the 2025 US Open both the men’s and women’s 400 freestyle fields stood out to me as VERY interesting races to watch, but for two VERY different reasons. On the men’s side we saw a DEEP field, heavy hitters were likely to fill out this entire final with any number of swimmers potentially able to win the race. Then on the women’s side we had the WORLD RECORD HOLDER Summer McIntosh, and while the field behind her wasn’t as deep as the men’s side of things Summer McIntosh had the potential to throw down a VERY fast time and that was enough to capture a lot of interest.
