Kulusevski Travels to Old Trafford | De Zerbi’s Team News Before Man United

Dejan Kulusevski will travel with the Tottenham squad to Old Trafford. Roberto De Zerbi confirms he’s coming along for support as he continues his comeback, calling him “an example for everyone”, though he won’t put a date on a first matchday squad: “we have to analyse week by week.” Speaking before Man United vs Spurs, De Zerbi also confirms Pedro Porro and Mihailo Mudryk are both unavailable, with Mudryk facing the longer absence, while Van de Ven and Van Hecke are fit after the international break.

He explains the plan for James Maddison, who is available but lost three or four days of training, needs “three, four, five weeks in a row without pain” to be a normal player again. He says he wanted to play the day after the Villa defeat and explains why Spurs aren’t scoring from the chances they create. He also calls Mateus Fernandes “maybe one of the best players in our team”. Asked about Juventus’ relegation from Serie A, and the obvious parallel, he simply says: “I love respecting the rules.”
