A year ago, Pat Coogan was playing in the CFP National Championship game for Notre Dame. Following the loss, Coogan made a life decision that few saw coming. He left the Fighting Irish and signed on to anchor the offensive of Indiana University. The decision to bet on himself and an underdog Hoosier program was not easy, and one Coogan credits to his upbringing and the culture he helped develop around the family business, a small restaurant in Chicago, Franklin’s Public House.
