Brock Bowers Is This Year's JSN, And He Plays Tight End

Everyone is hunting for this year's JSN at wide receiver. The answer might be
an arguably generational talent who happens to play tight end, in a passing
game with almost no other target competition, run by the same play caller who
just helped JSN put up those numbers in the first place.

Bowers already gave us one of the best rookie seasons the position has ever
seen, going all the way back to Mike Ditka in 1960. Then look at what last
year actually looked like around him. The play caller got fired before
December, Geno Smith led the NFL in sacks and interceptions, and Bowers
himself went over 100 yards in Week 1 and then injured his PCL. He played
through it for weeks, finally took time off, and came back to hang three
touchdowns on the Jaguars. That was still enough for TE2 numbers in PPR
points per game.

Everything got worse around him and he was still that good. Now the situation
is finally pointed the right way.
