The Miami Heat have been getting some impressive performances during the preseason, and three players are making their case for bigger roles: Ryan Conwell, Nikola Jovic, and Simone Fontecchio!
These guys have been stepping up and putting together impressive performances, but the big question remains: WHO WILL EARN THE 9TH AND 10TH SPOTS IN ERIK SPOELSTRA’S ROTATION?
We already have eight players we expect to be firmly in the mix:
🔥 Giannis Antetokounmpo
🔥 Bam Adebayo
🔥 Andrew Wiggins
🔥 Klay Thompson
🔥 Davion Mitchell
🔥 Pelle Larsson
🔥 Tim Hardaway Jr.
🔥 Bobby Portis
That’s eight players, but a rotation needs more than eight guys over the course of an entire NBA season. Injuries, matchups, defensive assignments, shooting, and consistency will all play a role in determining who gets those extra minutes.
THREE PLAYERS TO WATCH:
🔴 Ryan Conwell — Can he continue taking advantage of his preseason opportunities and prove he deserves a spot in the rotation?
⚪ Nikola Jovic — Can his versatility, size, and ability to contribute in different ways help him secure consistent minutes?
🔥 Simone Fontecchio — Can his shooting and offensive skill set make him too valuable to leave out of the rotation?
The preseason is the perfect opportunity for these players to make their case. But strong preseason performances don’t automatically guarantee regular-season minutes. They have to prove they can contribute when the games start counting.
