TIER 1: THE BIG SEVEN
Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Kenneth Walker, James Cook, Jonathan Taylor.
Key question: who are the league's true workhorse RBs? Club 75, the nine backs with a snap rate of at least 75% in Week 3: Jaylen Warren (90%), Jonathan Taylor, Chuba Hubbard, Ashton Jeanty, Ollie Gordon, Christian McCaffrey, Aaron Jones, Cam Skattebo and Javonte Williams.

TIER 2: TOP-15 BALLERS, SHOT CALLERS
Chuba Hubbard, Jaylen Warren, Saquon Barkley, Chase Brown, Kyren Williams, Javonte Williams, Ashton Jeanty, Jeremiyah Love.
Key question: who has the best matchups in the trenches this week? Using combined RB yards before contact per carry for each offense and its opponent, the best on-paper matchups belong to the Bills, Panthers, Rams, Lions, Jets and Broncos. The worst go to the Colts, Chargers and Buccaneers.

TIER 3: THE LAST RBS TO REASONABLY FEEL GOOD ABOUT

Key question: what offenses have provided the most and least fantasy-friendly opportunities for RBs? Looking at RB targets and carries inside the five-yard line, the Chiefs, 49ers and Lions lead the way, while the Vikings, Jaguars, Bills, Colts, Commanders, Titans and Packers have given their backs the least.

TIER 4: I'VE SEEN BETTER RB3 TIERS
TreVeyon Henderson, Rhamondre Stevenson, Jadarian Price, Quinshon Judkins, J.K. Dobbins, Tony Pollard, Ollie Gordon, Alvin Kamara, RJ Harvey, Kyle Monangai, Blake Corum, Rachaad White.
