NC State's Quintin McCarty has asserted himself as one of the top sprinters in the country across multiple events this season. Winning the 50 back in 24.4 against a loaded heat, including Olympic champ Ryan Murphy, that time puts him as #9 worldwide and the top American. He's also the top-ranked American in the 50 free courtesy of a PB 21.43 he clocked at the Mare Nostrum tour in May (T-#3 in the world), which he discusses here.
