Topps Is Shipping Boxes UNSEALED… Here’s the Problem 😬

Topps is shipping Chrome mega boxes without cellophane to stop scalpers, but does that put collectors and local card shops at risk? On this week’s Collector Nation, Ryan Alford, Brian Ludden and Bella break down unsealed boxes, searched product and who takes the hit when packs get tampered with. Download the Collector Nation app and get the full story at thecollectornation.com.

We also dig into three big Shohei Ohtani sales: his 2025 Tokyo Series game-worn jersey topped $2M and a 2026 Topps Chrome Ultraviolet Superfractor 1/1 hit $329K, while his 2018 Bowman Chrome PSA 9 rookie dropped $26K from July. Plus: PrizePicks putting Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper and Kon Knueppel 1/1 Logomen into $2,500 repacks, Topps turning LeBron’s “24” jersey patches into 1/1s, and the PSA cards stolen from a FedEx truck.

Then it’s Five Up, Five Down for NFL Week 6 with Collector Nation market data: CJ Stroud, Matthew Golden, Drake Maye and Bhayshul Tuten are up, while Matthew Stafford, CeeDee Lamb and Tetairoa McMillan are slowing down. Ryan and Bella close with this week’s Wednesday releases, Topps Heritage Football, Topps Holiday and Topps Vault Disney, plus why Donruss Football is back unlicensed and why Panini is fighting a branding battle Topps never had to.
