Volleyball
The Ural slap in the face in the first meeting cheered up the guests, so they started the second match in Nizhny Tagil with renewed vigor and a new attitude. As Olga Biryukova, the captain of Zarechye Odintsovo, said later after the match: "We don't like easy paths and always go through thorns to the stars." Therefore, they found workarounds and immediately took control of the game: Elena Mladenovich attacked competently, Yulia Brovkina scored with a block and an attack. There was anger in zarechenki for losing two days earlier. The Ural players found something to respond to their rivals with – powerful attacks by Elizaveta Protopopova and Olga Vaganova, and Polina Trukhina’s selfless play in defense. Added a spark to the strong serve of Olga Khlebnikova, thanks to which the hosts lingered in one arrangement (9:7), until Biryukova interrupted this breakaway series with a precise attack. In the best conditions, Protopopova crushed the block from the Moscow region, which helped to increase the lead to 15:10 by the middle of the set. But the maximum mood of the Zarechenki brought them back into the fight, first reducing it to a minimum, and then bringing it to equality – 17:17. The teams decided to fight each other again and test their resilience – 20:20 and 22:22. This time, Konstantin Ushakov's team passed the test, and they didn't give up the final and performed better than their opponents, winning 25-22.
In the second set, Zarechye took into account all the mistakes of the past and played a great game against Uralochka-NTMK, neutralizing Elizaveta Fitisova with her lightning-fast runs and Vaganova with her powerful attacks. Nina Kasatkina entered the game. The volleyball players from the Moscow region improved their defense, confidently held their ground, and executed counterattacks, resulting in a score of 12:7. With each set, the guests from Odintsovo continued to push forward. The Ural players rushed to break the system of the Moscow team, first knocking out the Zarechenki with Ekaterina Nikitina's serve, and then with the block of Fitisova and Branka Tica – 10:13. They took full advantage of the risk, but the Ural players' reception failed them. Moreover, a series of mistakes was not part of the Ural plans, but it still happened. The gap became critical, but Mikhail Karpol's players did not give up – 17:22. However, the guests' enthusiasm proved stronger – 25:19.
In the third set, Uralochka-NTMK regained their desire, but they did not correct their mistakes, and it became increasingly difficult to bring them to the floor. It was incredibly challenging to compete with Zarechye-Odintsovo, who were so determined to win. Both teams played well, but Zarechye had a strong desire to triumph. In the middle of the set, Odintsovo volleyball players took a break advantage (16:14), by the end they reached +3 - 20:17. The block and the serve of Zarechya completely disabled Uralochek. The match in Nizhny Tagil was completed by Brovkina's attack and Eva Pavlovich Mori's tricky discount – 25:22 and 3:0.
