Aston Villa Football Club is delighted to launch our 2025 Christmas film, All is Claret, All is Blue. Set on Christmas Eve at Bodymoor Heath, the film follows a young Villa fan who sets out to deliver a surprise to Unai Emery - with a little help from some familiar faces. The short film also stars Captain John McGinn, and a host of first-team favourites including Emi Martínez, Ollie Watkins, Matty Cash and Morgan Rogers. With some club legends lending a hand too, All is Claret, All is Blue captures the joy, generosity, and togetherness that define Christmas. It’s a light-hearted celebration of our club’s heart — our players, our fans, and the sense of belonging that connects generations of Villans everywhere. As the film closes with the words “All is Claret, All is Blue. Merry Christmas… and Up the Villa too!”, we’d like to thank everyone who helped make it possible — from our incredible staff and players to the supporters who fill every day with pride.
