The Drop is gearing up for the final major of the 2026 season as the TOUR heads to Royal Birkdale and the 154th playing of The Open Championship. We’ll spend the first part of the show giving picks and predictions for who will be raising the Claret Jug on Sunday. The EliminaTOUR makes its final appearance of the year, using stats, trends and history to whittle the field down from the full entry list all the way down to one winner. Our host Alexandra O’Laughlin played Royal Birkdale a week ago and she provides some course logistics and things to look for as the event plays out. Later we are joined by Sky Sports lead golf presenter Nick Daugherty as he breaks down some of the key players and who he thinks will be in contention. Finally, we’ll react to the PGA TOUR announcement that Chasing Sunday – a behind-the-scenes collaboration between PGA TOUR Studios and NFL Films – will return during the week of the BMW Championship.
