6/14/26: The Mets wasted no time getting on the board with a four-run first inning against the Atlanta Braves.
With runners on first and second and one out, Jared Young delivered an RBI single to tie the game. A.J. Ewing followed with a double that scored Juan Soto, and Young came all the way around to score when an errant throw from the Braves outfielder struck a pole and rolled away.
Brett Baty capped off the rally with an RBI single to give the Mets a 4-1 lead.
