Pitt vs. Florida State Game Highlights | 2026 ACC Baseball Championship (Quarterfinals)

Pitt vs. Florida State: The No. 14 seeded Pitt Panthers jumped all over the No. 3 seeded Florida State Seminoles and ACC Pitcher of the year Wes Mendes with 4 runs in the first inning behind Trey Fenderson's 3rd home run of the Championship and great pitching by Eddie Smink. But after Smink departed the game, FSU pitcher Ben Barrett, who used to be a two-way player and had not hit since 2023 delivered a grand slam in the bottom of the 5th inning to tie things up. The game stayed locked up at 5 until the bottom of the 8th inning when John Stuetzer scored from 3rd on an error by Trey Fenderson. Kai Wagner then delivered heroics with a 3-run home run off of Brodie Pircell to give Pitt the 8-6 lead.
