The biggest individual award in football is calling, and the stars are coming: At the Ballon d'Or ceremony in London, the best male and female soccer players, goalkeepers, coaches, and top clubs are honored. In the “Young Talent” category, Ibrahim Maza was among the ten nominees. The Leverkusen forward traveled to London on Monday after training. We accompanied him down the red carpet to the event.

Alongside Bayer 04 CEO Fernando Carro, Maza watched as Lamine Yamal won the Kopa Trophy and Alexia Putellas and Harry Kane were awarded the Ballon d'Or. Here, you get an up-close look at the Algerian national team player, who has the honor of being nominated. We're proud of you—keep it up, Ibo!
