After devastating floods in early 2005 caused severe damage to Ojai's Soule Park Golf Course, the owners turned to Gil Hanse to reimagine their 1962 William F. Bell design. One hole that embodies the spirit of their transformative work is the short par-4 ninth, which utilizes the hole's original corridor but combined new built features, a fresh green design (and location), and the natural topography to create an ultra-fun, option-rich hole in one of California's most idyllic settings.
