NC State outfielder Ty Head was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles with the 46th pick in the 2026 MLB Draft. Head earned Third Team All-ACC honors after a season that saw him hit 14 home runs and drive in 48 RBI while scoring 64 times himself. Head is known as a very selective hitter, drawing 57 walks during the 2026 campaign, good enough for 2nd all-time in Wolfpack history. Orioles fans should be excited to watch Ty Head grow into a solid outfielder with a chance to find a spot in Baltimore.
