🚨🔥 THE DISRESPECT IS HERE… AND MIAMI HEAT FANS SHOULD LOVE IT! 🔥🚨
ESPN and NBA 2K27 have officially given Miami Heat fans something to talk about — and in this episode of Miami Heat Talk, we’re breaking down WHY I DON’T SEE THIS DISRESPECT AS A BAD THING… I SEE IT AS FUEL! 🔥🏀
NBA 2K27 has released its ratings for the Miami Heat, and there are some numbers that are absolutely raising eyebrows. Giannis Antetokounmpo comes in at a massive 96 overall and Bam Adebayo is an 87, but after that, there are several Heat players whose ratings I believe are MUCH LOWER than they should be. Bobby Portis gets an 80, while Andrew Wiggins is at 79, Pelle Larsson 78, Davion Mitchell 77 and Klay Thompson 76. (2K Ratings)
And then ESPN adds even MORE fuel to the fire by putting the Miami Heat at No. 4 among the teams they believe could “fumble” the upcoming season.
But here’s where I disagree with the negativity.
🔥 WHEN HAS THE MIAMI HEAT BEING DOUBTED EVER BEEN A BAD THING?
Miami has historically thrived when the national media counts them out. The Heat culture, Erik Spoelstra, Pat Riley and the mentality of this organization have always made doubt and disrespect another source of motivation.
And now look at this roster.
Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Bam Adebayo.
Bobby Portis.
Andrew Wiggins.
Klay Thompson.
Pelle Larsson.
Davion Mitchell.
Nick Richards.
That’s SIZE. That’s EXPERIENCE. That’s DEFENSE. That’s SHOOTING. That’s STAR POWER. That’s DEPTH.
Miami is coming off a 43-39 season in which the team finished second in the NBA in scoring at 120.9 points per game, and the offseason has completely changed the complexion of this roster. (Basketball Reference)
The Heat also recently added veteran center Nick Richards, while already bringing in Giannis and Klay Thompson, giving this team even more size and experience. (Reuters)
So if ESPN wants to doubt Miami…
If NBA 2K27 wants to underrate Miami…
LET THEM.
Because the Miami Heat don’t need everybody picking them to succeed.
Sometimes the best thing that can happen to this franchise is for everybody to say they CAN’T do it.
In this episode, we’re talking about the NBA 2K27 ratings, ESPN’s “fumble” prediction, why I believe the national media is sleeping on Miami, what this roster could look like when the games actually count, and why all this disrespect could come back to haunt everybody who counted the Heat out.
🔥 THEY’RE DOUBTING MIAMI.
🔥 WE’RE WATCHING.
🔥 AND THAT’S EXACTLY HOW WE LIKE IT.
What do YOU think? Are NBA 2K27’s Heat ratings disrespectful? Does ESPN have a legitimate reason to believe Miami could fumble the season? Or is this exactly the type of disrespect that could fuel the Heat to have a monster season?
