The Notre Dame Fighting Irish held off a hard-fighting Syracuse Orange team, 72-62, at home. Hannah Hidalgo once again had a fantastic game for the Irish, scoring a game-high 27 points on 11-21 shooting and stuffing the stat sheet with 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 7 steals in the win. Cassandre Prosper added 16 points while Malaya Cowles chipped in 13 for Niele Ivey's squad, while the Orange were led by Laila Phelia's 23 points in a losing effort.
