Mike Vrabel on Gabe Jacas, Christian Gonzalez & DeAndre Hopkins Role | Patriots Press Conference

Mike Vrabel spoke to the media today prior to the Patriots Training Camp officially kicking off tomorrow. Mike addressed the ongoing contract negotiations with Christian Gonzalez as well as Gabe Jacas.

Mike Vrabel was asked about Patriots unsigned 2nd Round Pick Gabe Jacas, he was very POSITIVE a deal will get done with Gabe Jacas:

“Every contract is unique, every contract is different, and it'll get resolved. I'm positive that it will.”

When asked about Star CB Christian Gonzalez Mike Vrabel shared that the Star CB is here:

“He is here and I would expect him to participate. Those contract negotiations are ongoing...I'm excited about having Christian back here with us.”

5-Time Pro Bowl WR DeAndre Hopkins had spent the last couple days with the Patriots team. The twos relationship dates back to when Vrabel coached the WR with the Titans. Mike discussed what D-Hops role had been with the team the past couple days:

“He has got coaching gear on and he is helping out the offensive coaches and meeting with our personnel guys.”
