Phillies sign Adolis García. Bye, Harrison Bader and Nick Castellanos?
Baseball
The Phillies on Monday agreed to a one-year, $10 million contract with free-agent right fielder Adolis Garcia.
He will be Nick Castellanos’ replacement in right field, which should not surprise anybody who has been watching and listening to the show since mid-October. We’ve been saying for weeks that Castellanos won’t be back. But what about Harrison Bader? Does this signal the end of his chances to rejoin the Phillies?
We discuss Garcia, Bader, Castellanos and what’s been going on with the Mets and Braves in the NL East.
