The final match of the regular season began with a close and equal struggle. The visitors were the first to gain a breakaway advantage: after a successful attack, they secured their lead with an ace from Alexander Tkachenko – 10:8. The Sosnovobortsy did not allow their opponent to capitalize on this advantage and quickly regained the balance: Dmitry Kovalev made a successful serve, and Dynamo-LO took the lead with a series of his own serves – 12:11. The game continued in an equal struggle, and at the end of the set, Dynamo managed to gain an important break advantage, forcing Orenburg to take the first timeout at 20:18. However, the guests were unable to change the course of the set. At 23:21, Orenburg's head coach, Anton Volvich, took a second timeout, but several mistakes by his team prevented them from equalizing the score, and the game ended in favor of Dynamo at 25:23.
In the second set, the players from Sosnovy Bor were much more confident. From the very beginning, they took the initiative and created a small lead in the first set, 5:2. The visitors struggled to find their game, while Dynamo-LO's advantage gradually increased. In the middle of the game, Ivan Vasni, the libero of the youth team, appeared on the court, wearing a field player's jersey, 16:12. The hosts continued to dominate the match, leading 20:12. Numerous substitutions from the opponent did not help to reverse the situation, and the set ended with another mistake by the guests. The Sosnovobortsy calmly brought the game to victory — 25:15.
The third set began according to a different scenario. Orenburg took the initiative, and after Mikhail Khlyakin's ace, the home team's coaching staff was forced to take a timeout – 2:6. In this set, Semyon Dmitriev replaced captain Denis Biryukov as the setter, and Vadim Yutsevich, who had been substituted in the second set, continued playing on the opposite side of the court. Gradually, the players from Sosnovy Bor began to close the gap and returned to the game – 8:10. Despite this, the Dinamo players had to play catch-up for a long time. Towards the end of the match, Roman Murashko, the diagonal player, forced the opponents to take a timeout with a powerful serve, resulting in a score of 18:19. Immediately after this, the coaching staff made a double substitution, introducing Egor Krechetov and Pavel Avdochenko to the game. The teams entered the decisive stage of the match with a score of 20:20. The game then switched to a balance, where the Orenburg players were stronger in the tense final, 28:26.
In the fourth set, the Dinamo players were eager to end the match in their favor, while the guests were determined to force a tiebreak. Until the middle of the game, both teams played almost flawlessly, with the score tied at 12:12. However, when the Orenburg players managed to take the lead, the coach of the Sosnovoborsk team promptly called for a timeout (19:20), but they were unable to turn the tide. Timofey Pavlov, who came in to strengthen the serve, immediately hit an ace. After that, the guests managed to maintain their advantage and won the game, taking the match to the decisive fifth set — 25:22.
The tie-break for the pine wrestlers did not start easily — the guests immediately indicated their advantage (1:3). Nevertheless, during the set, Dynamo managed to stabilize the game (6:6), and the change of sides took place with a minimal advantage of Orenburg - 8:7. In the future, the fight continued, and the outcome of the meeting was decided in the end. With the score at 12:12, Alexander Klimkin took a timeout, trying to shake up the team after missing a two-point advantage. However, the last word was left to the opponent: the match ended in favor of Orenburg, and Timofey Pavlov put the winning point with an ace — 15:13.
