Our first night dive during the underwater adventures dive club trip to the Maldives was with a large group of nurse sharks and what an amazing experience it was.
We started off just before sunset and came across the sharks while they were sleeping and as you will see in the video, as the sun went down and the light began to fade, these sharks woke up and became curios of us with our scuba diving tanks on and blowing bubbles everywhere which in turn lead to a really cool experience with sharks swimming all around us. I tried to keep my torch off as the not scare them away which is how I got so many close up experiences with them.
Nurse sharks are not a real threat to humans and mostly feed on crustaceans although their favorite food is Octopus and if you would like to know more about the nurse sharks we dived with check out this link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tawny_nurse_shark
We were diving with Emperor divers Maldives and had a great experience and you can find out more about what they offer from this link here emperormaldives.com
