Dynamo vs. Zenit | HIGHLIGHTS | SemiFinals (3rd Game) | SuperLeague 2025-2026
Volleyball
During the opening set, the hosts take a lot of risks and make mistakes on their serve, while the guests add several effective blocks, giving them an advantage (14:10). After a timeout by the hosts' head coach, Konstantin Bryansky, the Moscow team gradually catches up and enters the final stages, losing only one break point. However, the game ends in favor of Zenit, with a score of 25:23 and 1:0 after the hosts' mistake on their serve.
The game is on the line at the start of the second set, and both teams are playing powerful attacking volleyball. Anton Semyshev's powerful and technical attacks give the Dinamo players a break, which is then secured by Ilya Vlasov's block (14:10). The St. Petersburg team compensates for their deficit with a series of powerful serves from Vladislav Babkevich, and at one point, they even take the lead. Bryansky's time-outs stabilize the game again, and the Muscovites leave behind several long and emotional plays. Maxim Belogortsev, the central blocker who returned to the court, provides the necessary pressure on the serve, and Denis Bogdan's ace puts an end to the match – 25:22.
Until a certain point, the third set resembles the first. Zenit takes a few points lead, but after Bryansky's time-out, the blue-and-white team returns to the game. The Muscovites work hard on defense and convert set balls, while Dmitry Zhuk "terrifies" the opposing attackers both on the block and during first-tempo attacks. Then, the host captain, Pavel Pankov, tests the opponent's middle blocker, Marlon Yant, with a serve. Ace – and Dynamo is already ahead 19:18. After another lost point, the head coach of the guests, Vladimir Alekno, takes a timeout, after which, however, his wards “climb into the net” - 21:18 in favor of the hosts. The gained advantage is more than enough. The diagonal Maxim Sapozhkov with a powerful attack leads the team to a set point – 24:21, and the point in the party is no less powerfully put by Bogdan – 25:22 and 2:1.
In the fourth set, the Dinamo players finally break through their opponent. Bogdan wins several difficult balls in the attack, and Vlasov makes a successful block. With their powerful and consistent serves, the Dinamo players disrupt their opponent's reception, and the boisterous crowd disorients Babkevich and Yant, who are increasingly shooting out of bounds. The change of the setter does not help the visitors, as the introduction of Igor Tisevich instead of Igor Kobzar does not bring about a turning point. The Dinamo players calmly complete the set and the match, taking the lead in the series. The fourth match will be held in Moscow on April 11 and will begin at 19:00.
