Amy Hunt won the women's 100m at the 2026 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, running 11.00 to claim her first senior international title in front of a home crowd. She was seventh at the 10m mark, fifth at the 50m mark, and first at the line — a trademark finish that has come to define her 2026 season.
It was her first gold at any senior international championship after a string of silvers: Tokyo Worlds silver in the 200m last September, Commonwealth silver in the 100m in Glasgow two weeks ago.
