🚨 JALEN HURTS BLOOD CLOT UPDATE: EAGLES QB LIKELY OUT FOR THE SEASON
The Philadelphia Eagles received a major health update on quarterback Jalen Hurts. In a new statement, the Eagles and Hurts’ agent, Nicole Lynn, confirmed that the initial superficial blood clot in his left calf has progressed to deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and bilateral pulmonary emboli, meaning blood clots have also been found in both lungs.
Hurts is clinically stable and undergoing treatment with blood thinners (anticoagulants), but he cannot participate in contact activities, including football, while receiving treatment. He is expected to miss the remainder of the 2026 NFL season, although the Eagles say his prognosis is very good and they anticipate a full recovery.
