Marcus Smart’s TWO-WAY MASTERCLASS Puts Him in LEGENDARY Company 🤯 (21/10/5 STL) | April 24, 2026
Basketball
Marcus Smart delivered a historic all-around performance in Game 3.
Smart finished with 21 points, 10 assists, and 5 steals, controlling the game on both ends while making winning plays throughout.
With this performance, Smart joined Magic Johnson (3x) as the only Los Angeles Lakers players to record 20+ points, 10+ assists, and 5+ steals in a playoff game since steals were first officially tracked in 1973–74.
He also became the first player since Jimmy Butler in 2020 to reach those marks in a playoff game, and the first since Michael Jordan in 1991 to add 2+ blocks to that stat line.
Smart also became the first player in NBA playoff history to finish a game with 20+ points, 10+ assists, 5+ steals, 2+ blocks, and multiple three-pointers made.
A truly historic two-way masterclass.
