Ci sono voluti i rigori per assegnare il trofeo, dopo il pareggio arrivato all’ultimo assalto con Isoa. Poi le parate di Anelli e la precisione dei nerazzurri dagli undici metri hanno indirizzato la coppa sulla via di Bergamo.

The Coppa Italia Primavera is ours! After 23 years, coach Bosi’s boys bring the trophy back to Bergamo, beating Juventus 5–2 on penalties on Wednesday 29 April at the Arena Civica “Gianni Brera” in Milan, at the end of a thrilling, hard-fought final that went down to the very last breath.
Penalties were needed to decide it, after Isoa’s last-gasp equaliser. Then Anelli’s saves and the Nerazzurri’s clinical finishing from the spot sent the cup on its way back to Bergamo.
