After the injuries of Alexander Kostadinov and Pavel Kuklinsky, the hosts called Pavel Yurinsky and Sergey Panov from Tyumen. It was the Tyumen's diagonal player who played the role of an attacking middle blocker in the starting lineup. The idea was half-successful, as Pavel performed well in attack but struggled with the reception.
It all started with Yurinsky's set after Kostadinov's stunning serve, followed by Slavi's routine ace, leading to a 4-2 score. The hosts quickly countered Yurinsky and Nikiforov's attacks, responding with Murashko and Mergareho, leveling the score. However, they soon took the lead when Demakov made a mistake in attack and Yurinsky struggled with the reception, resulting in a 10-8 score in favor of Dynamo-LO. The captain served an ace to the captain – Rodichev to Biryukov (11:11), but mistakes gave breaks to the guests. Kovalev's glider to Yurinsky – 17:14, and the Dinamo players didn't need anything more. They calmly held the score until the end of the game, finally pressing Nikiforov with a block – 25:20.
In the second set, Yurinsky switched to his usual position as the diagonal player, and the Yugra players tried to take the initiative at the start, leading 12:9. However, after a couple of routine mistakes by the hosts, Murashko's attack and serve took over, leading to a 18:16 score. The Yugra players held on to the break, but in the final set, the Sosnovoborsk players once again used their block to hold the diagonal player back, resulting in a 25:23 score and a 2:0 set advantage for the guests.
In the third set, the Yugra players tried to cut off the oxygen to the Dinamo-LO players in the fourth zone, but both Biryukov and Mergareho were patient in both self-insurance and in the overthrows. Yurinsky and Panov were good in the attack, but the serve did not fly – 10:10. The Sosnovoborsk players were better in defense and insurance, and this was the best bonus. At some point, the hosts began to suffer from the removal. After an equal score of 19:19 on Kovalev's serve, the atomic boys secured a comfortable finish with a score of 23:19. The Pine Forest team's diagonal set the final score at 25:20 and 3:0.
