CFB Week 10 Weekday Preview & Picks, Playoff Rankings

The College Football Experience on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network continues its Week 10 weekday games preview and picks with Colby Dant (@TheColbyD) and Ryan McIntyre (@Moneyline_Mac), plus Troy Chewning (@Troychewning) dropping in. How is Miami number one with that schedule? How does two-loss Texas sit seventh while undefeated UCLA is eighth? Can FAU knock off UTSA outright at plus 220? Will Nevada hang with New Mexico as a 10 and a half point dog?

And who does Florida State turn to after firing Mike Norvell? We talk it all and more on this episode of The College Football Experience.

The first College Football Playoff rankings are out, and nobody here is happy about them. Colby Dant pulls apart the committee's logic: Miami at one with a best win at Wake Forest, Utah at three with two wins over teams with winning records, two-loss Alabama ahead of BYU and UCLA, and Wake Forest stuck at 16 after blowing out Power Five teams all October. Ryan McIntyre can't get past Texas at seven after losses to Oklahoma and a backup quarterback at Florida. Then it's on to Mike Norvell's firing at Florida State and whether that job is even top 25 anymore. Mac pitches Manny Diaz and Brian Kelly, and Troy Chewning floats Jimbo Fisher on a budget.

The Land Down Under covers foxhole spots, coaching hot seats, the Holy War, Kentucky at Tennessee and the dumbest game of the week, which goes to Toledo at Sac State. Then come the weekday picks. Both hosts lay the 3.5 with UMass against Ball State, take Sac State plus 25.5 against Toledo and back Central Michigan to upset Eastern Michigan at Ford Field. On Thursday they ride FAU plus 6.5 and the plus 220 moneyline against UTSA and lay 14.5 with JMU at Southern Miss. Dundee takes Howard plus 15.5 against South Carolina State, while Mac sides with the Bulldogs without betting it and Troy would lay the points.

Friday brings the first battle of the night. Dundee takes Virginia Tech plus 5.5, Mac lays it with SMU, and Troy goes over 56.5. Everyone agrees on ECU minus 2.5 against South Florida, and Troy makes it a triple lock. Illinois plus 4.5 and the plus 175 moneyline against Nebraska get double locked. So does Nevada plus 10.5 with a sprinkle on the plus 320 moneyline. The last double lock is Arizona minus 9.5 against TCU in Tucson.
