Playing with 10 men for more than 80 minutes, Everton produced one of the finest performances in recent memory to beat in-form Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford.
Despite losing Seamus Coleman to injury and having Idrissa Gana Gueye sent off all inside the opening 13 minutes, the Blues somehow built on what had been bright start to grab the winner just before the half-hour mark, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall curling a 20-yard finish beyond Senne Lammens to send the travelling Evertonians wild.
With a numerical advantage, United inevitably piled on the pressure in the second half but a combination of Jordan Pickford saves and gutsy defending kept them at bay to give the Toffees their first victory at Old Trafford since 2013.
