The Silesia Diamond League 1500m saw an exciting race at every lap as it featured names like Jessica Hull, Nikki Hiltz, Birke Haylom, and Klaudia Kazimierska. In the end, it was Tsige Duguma who stunned the field and took the win. Duguma, who has historically been an 800m specialist, had a huge kick to win the race in the final 100m. It was only her fourth 1500m race ever. Duguma won the race, running a new world-leading time of 3:55.06.
