PXG Dropped Their Prices… Then DROPPED Us! Why We CAN’T Sell PXG Anymore

PXG just shut down our retail account — no call, no email, and our own rep didn't know until he tried to place a customer's order.

Embers Golf's store wouldn't exist without PXG; they were our first-ever account. Then Trevor posted a Short putting Bob Parsons' 2017 "Ferrari of golf clubs" promise next to PXG's new "prices are dropping like it's hot" email — and the account was gone.

Stick around for the text from our rep at 5:44, and for our answer to the comment we get all the time: "you only say it's the best because you want to sell it."

In this video we tell the whole PXG story from the inside: the winter fittings in a garage with a rollup door that led to our wholesale account, what PXG said it was going to be at $300 a club (closer to $500 today), what the new PXG pricing email says now that they're in PGA Superstore, and how we found out the account was closed when a customer came in to order a Lightning driver. We'll still review every new PXG release the same way we always have — we'll just buy them like everyone else. We also get into why we don't carry Ping, why we don't care whether you buy a wedge from us (the 15-year-old fireplace and barbecue store next door pays the bills), and the shift coming to the Embers Golf store over the next few months: fewer golf balls, shoes, and sunglasses, more custom fitting, custom builds, and the biggest custom shaft matrix we can stock. And the pact: no hard-goods sponsorships. Want to get fit? Come see us in Westminster, CO — address below.
