What Would It Mean To Make The NCAA Tournament | 2025-26 ACC Men's Basketball
General Sports
With the tournament bracket out, we now know that (8?) ACC teams have made the field of 68 for the 2026 NCAA basketball tournament. Before the season started, we asked coaches and players at the ACC Tipoff what it would mean for their team to make the ACC Tournament this season. Coach Jon Scheyer noted that it is always Duke's first goal to make the tournament and that it is an honor to do so. North Carolina's Henri Veesaar and Seth Trimble said that it was a must-do thing for the Tar Heels. SMU head coach Andy Enfield mentioned how big it would be for a program that has not won a tournament game in 37 years. Miami's Tre Donaldson and Ernest Udeh mentioned how big it would be for the Hurricanes after a disappointing 2024-25 season. Listen to the coach and/or players from every ACC tournament team say what it means for their team to make this NCAA Tournament.
