In honor of Juneteenth and as part of our Champions Project, fellow Ghanians Maxwell Woledzi and Shak Mohammed pay a visit to the National Museum of African American Music, the only museum in the United States devoted to celebrating the many genres created, influenced, and inspired by African Americans.
From gospel hymns, to the blues of jazz and hip-hop beats, join our Boys in Gold as they travel through the museum's exhibits within the Rivers of Rhythm.
We’re proud to spotlight the National Museum of African American Music as true champions of the community, preserving and celebrating the the history of Black music in America.
